A sad day for Packer fans everywhere

Although they lost, the Packers didn’t go down without a fight, making for a very exciting game.  As you can tell from Alex’s face in the second picture, our Packer Party got a bit intense at times.  I really like how the poster is positioned behind him; I’d like to be able to say I planned it that way… but of course I didn’t.Kelsey  Alex  Kris  Mitchell John Host I

Despair

I’m in Photocommunication this semester and our first assignment is a photograph that tells a story and elicts an emotion.  As you can obviously tell, I choose depression.  Not the happiest of topics… but it gets the veiwer’s attention and draws them in, making them think.  Anywho, the assignment isn’t due for a couple weeks, but I had the opportunity to join Jordan in his studio this afternoon and took advantage of it.  That being said, I haven’t decided which photo I want to turn in, so any input would be fantastic, thanks!

Carpet Ball

A new carpet ball table made it’s debut in the CBC Youth Room on Sunday night and quickly became the center of attention.  I took a lot of pictures but only Jenna, Skylar, and Andy were lucky enough to make this post.  Hopefully I’ll get some more good ones in the weeks to come (it makes for good depth pictures).

Thank You Jordan

I just real quickly wanted to give some credit to the creator of this awesome new blog.  Jordan Ogren’s the mastermind behind it and I really appreciate his help, because everyone knows the relationship between technology and I is hate/hate.  So thanks a TON Jordan!

Christmas On The Farm

Well it was that time of year again, christmas with my mom’s dad and her step-siblings and their families.  We always have it on the farm where my mom and aunt grew up and play bingo for really odd presents, such as plastics straws, socks, and gum (which are what I ended up with this year).  The kids are getting bigger and are therefore a little more fun to take pictures of.

The first two pictures are of little Brice.  The third is depicting the of brotherly and sisterly love of Colby and Courtney.  And then the last one… If anyone has been wondering why I’m so strange, this could be your answer.  Yep, that’s my mom.

More Gymnastics

Sitting at home has been getting pretty boring and poses few opportunities for me to take pictures, so I headed up to the gym once again to hang out at practice.  They’re probably getting pretty sick of me being there all the time, but I’m having a lot of fun.  And I’m actually going to be rather dissapointed to not get to see them finish out the season, oh well.

The first picture is of Chantel practicing her straddle back release move.  The second is of my best friend Krista zoning out… or concentrating, you decide.  And the last is of Dani chalking up her grips.  Well that’s all I’ve got for now, Peace Out.

Precision and Grace

I traveled through the fog with some other alumni gymnasts last night to watch this years team compete in Verona.  And I got some pretty good shots… mostly because the routines and tricks were so great.  Be sure to check out the facial expressions, especially in the last photo.

New Years Randoms

I spent New Years Eve playing games with my best friend and her family. I only got a couple shots of her nephew Aidan since he went to bed pretty early, but hopefully I’ll have a chance to take more sometime, cause he’s quite the little charmer. I also took some pictures of objects around their house per request of Krista’s mom. Oh and then their’s my cat Simba basking in the sun. Enjoy!Aidenbearbasking in the sun
