 The assignment is: Lifestyle Feature Photo, Which pretty much means a standalone photo that displays a moment in Winona life along with a short caption.  So the question is… which photo should I use??  I need advice people!   I know the quality on these is kind of crappy, but that’s because they’re film and I had a lot of dust issues in the darkroom.  I’m working on them in photoshop.

While I was in the darkroom earlier tonight, developing some pictures for my photocomm class, there was a bit of a chemical mishap.  Basically, the stop bath was out, so a viscomm student decided to refill it on her own, and having no idea what she was doing, poured the whole jug of stop bath (which is supposed to be diluted 16:1 with water) into the tray… And it stayed like that for oh, 4 or 5 minutes before I was like “ummm, I can’t breathe, what in the world is going on” and then rushed over to get the chemicals back into the jug.  So I ended up breathing in way more stop bath fumes than any human should ever be exposed to, and in the process burnt my nostrils and got a wonderful headache.  Needless to say, I’m praying that I wake up in the morning.

this picture makes me laugh so much

I help out at CBC on Wednesday nights with a children’s ministries program called Awana and brought along my camera tonight.  The first two pictures aren’t very good quality wise, but I absolutely love the content.  The very first is the kids screaming the end of the Awana song and the second one just makes me laugh. The next two are of Maddy during ‘circle time’. And the last one is a cute shot capturing some sibling love.

A much needed game night went down in numero cuatro tonight.  We played some twister and then we moved on to an extremely long and intense game of pictionary.  I don’t know if you’ve ever tried… but it’s extremely difficult to get any decent pictures during a twister game that involves 4 college students.  However I did get one of Crystal and a few of pictionary, which I’m pretty happy about since this blog was in desperate need of an update, sorry for that.  I just have an extremely boring life and therefore don’t have much to take pictures of.  I promise for more posts soon though

Oh and if anyone is looking for more pictures that weren’t blog-worthy, I’m going to give them to Crystal to put on her facebook since I’ve proudly been facebook free for a whole month now.  Go me.
