Life Goes On

I’m not sure when exactly I wrote it but my guess is somewhere in the spring or summer of 2008. While reading over it I smiled because of it’s truth. I hope it speaks to you as well!
Leave it behind
It’s all in the past
Things change
People change
Life goes on
Nothings the same
Nothing ever will be
Mistakes were made
Lessons learned
Life goes on
Look back over your shoulder
But don’t regret a thing
It made you who you are
Relax, be still, and know
Life goes on
